William “Billy” P. Janssen, 80, formerly of Hoboken, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 28, 2022 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Billy will join his parents, Barbara and Daniel Janssen, in heaven. He will also be reunited with his dearly missed sister Barbara Janssen, brother-in-law Edward Behrmann and brother Daniel Janssen Jr.

He was the beloved brother of Albert Janssen, Alberta Janssen and Theresa Behrmann. Not having any children of his own; the greatest joy in his life was being a devoted and loving uncle to his nieces and nephews; Albert Janssen Jr., Kimberle DiGiorgio, Jessica Rodriguez, Edward Behrmann Jr., Albert Behrmann, Daniel Behrmann, Keith Behrmann, Rita Janssen, Jane Janssen-Pezza, David Janssen, the late Daniel Janssen and his many great-nieces and nephews.

Billy will be remembered by his family and friends as someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. He was a gentle giant with a huge heart. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 4th at 9:30AM. A Catholic blessing will be held in the Chapel at 11AM at Failla Memorial Home. 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. NJ 07030. Followed by Entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
