William J. Casella, 79, of Hoboken, NJ (formerly of Jersey City, NJ), passed away March 17, 2026.  Surviving are his loving children; Cassandra Casella, Joseph Casella, step-daughter Leah Seickendick, and step-son Leo Seickendick, his cherished grandson, Carmelo, his brother, Joseph “Jody” Casella and his wife Loida (née Bonilla), and his former wife and friend, Enza Seickendick.   He is predeceased by his two sisters; Theresa Gastelu and Rosemary Casella.

William was born in Jersey City to Anita (née Zaremba) and Joseph Casella, and was a U.S. Army veteran.

A celebration of William’s life will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM and ending at 6:00 PM at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken.  Parking is available in rear of the funeral home off Sixth Street.  The Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, March 23, 2026, 10:30 AM at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, 704 Jefferson Street, Hoboken.  Cremation is private.
