Titina “Innocenza” Messina née Binetti of Jersey City NJ, formerly of Hoboken, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Tuesday October 10th 2023, at the age of 95.
Born in Molfetta, Italy. Titina immigrated to the United States (Hoboken) in 1970. She was a resident of Jersey City at the time of her passing. She was a seamstress in Jersey City for many years.
Predeceased by her loving Husband Giuseppe and a beloved son Felice. She will be sadly missed by her only daughter Grace Spadavecchia and her husband Corrado. A great joy in her life was her grandson, Joseph Spadavecchia.
Titina is survived by a sister Anna De Pinto and a host nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to share in the celebration of the Eucharist at the funeral mass on Saturday October 14th, 2023 beginning at St. Anthony’s RC Church, 615 8th street Union City, NJ
Titina’s entombment will take place in Molfetta, Italy with her late husband Giuseppe and son Felice Messina.
When Mass is concluded, Titina will be transported to Italy for entombment in the family crypt at the Municipal Cemetery of Molfetta. Memorial contributions to MISSIONARI SERVI DEI POVERI DEL TERZO MONDO PO BOX 1051 W. BABYLON, NY 11704 will be appreciated.
At Titina’s request there will be no visitation here in the United States.
