Obituary

Thomas Cosmo DeSteno Jr., 35, passed away on September 1, 2020.  Born and raised in Hoboken, NJ, he enjoyed cooking, time spent with close friends and watching the NY Yankees.  He also loved music and played a wide variety of instruments that eventually gained him a spot playing at CBGB’s in New York City.  At 17, as an avid bowler Tom was the youngest person to ever win the King of the Hill Bowling Tournament amongst many older and more experienced bowlers. In his youth he was a member of Hoboken Boy Scout Troops 11 and 146. 

He was predeceased by his mother, Susan DeSteno in 2008.  Surviving is father Thomas DeSteno Sr., uncle and aunt, Cosmo and Brenda DeSteno, cousins Amelia, Cameron, & Jeremy and his beloved great aunt, Dolores Cicala.  Tom also leaves behind a host of close friends, Jeffrey and Lori De Iudicibus, Alessandro Calo and Christian Roman among many others. 

A Catholic Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19 at 9am at St. Francis Church, 308 Jefferson Street, Hoboken.
