Theresa Salvemini-Mancini, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2020 at her home in Weehawken, New Jersey. Born in Molfetta, Bari to parents, Nicolo and Caterina (nee Pisani) Salvemini. Predeceased by her loving husband, Celestino Mancini (1992). 

Theresa was a beloved Mother and Nonna who was caring and kind hearted to everyone who knew her. Surviving are her two sons Anthony, his wife Lisa, and Nicolo Mancini. Her devoted daughter, Grace Mancini, who loved, cared, and stood by her side throughout her life. Theresa was a strong and proud woman who emigrated to Hoboken at the age of four, where she spent most of her life, before moving to Weehawken, where she resided for her remaining years surrounded by a loving household. Theresa worked at David Burr Clothing Store for twenty-five years while helping Grace raise her grandsons Michael, Stephen, and Andrew, and cherish her granddaughters Elizabeth, Jennifer, Cathryn, and Nicole. Our hearts are broken. She was the heart and soul of our family, and will be missed deeply.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, 10AM at St. Ann Catholic Church, 704 Jefferson Street, Hoboken. Theresa will be privately entombed at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, New Jersey.
