THELMA J. GRIGIS (nee Sala) was born on August 13, 1929 to Carlo and Madeline Sala of Clifton, NJ.  Thelma resided in Clifton, NJ until 1965 when she married the late John Grigis, and moved to Union City, NJ, where she happily resided for 31 years.  From Union City, Thelma moved to Saddle Brook, NJ for 20 years and spent the last four years of her life at the Brookdale West Orange-Senior Living.   Thelma is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Joseph Romano, her son, John M. Grigis and various loving relatives and friends. 

There will be a private service on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 10:00am at Madonna Cemetery & Mausoleum, Fort Lee, NJ followed by entombment, where she will be laid to rest next to her loving husband.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will be appreciated by the family.
