Tanya Berghuys, (nee Goldsack), 55, of Union City, New Jersey, formerly of North Vale, New Jersey passed away peacefully at her Union City residence in the presence of her loving family. Born in Hoboken, New Jersey. She was a resident of North Vale for some thirty years, moving to Union City one year ago. She was an office manager for many years, at the XD4 Graphic Company in South Hackensack, NJ. Tanya was a devoted and loving mother. She was an avid reader, expert scrabble player and enjoyed challenging crossword puzzles. Tanya’s warmth, love, concern for all those she come to know, leaves a void in her memory.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Henry, two sons, North Vale Police Officer Corey Berghuys and his wife, Joanna, Ramsey Police Officer, Austin Berghuys, her only daughter, Ashlee and her spouse, Carolyn, her cherished siblings, Hoboken Firefighter, Nickolas and his wife Lisa and Brian Goldsack and his wife, Fran, and an endeared sister Johna. Tanya was blessed with three beautiful grandchildren, Rylan, Adriana and Hayley. Also surviving are her loving parents, Michele Serino and Robert Goldsack.

Visitation will be held at the Failla Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken prior the funeral mass on Monday, November 9, 2020, beginning at 8:30am and concluding at 10:30am. The Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis RC Church, 304 Jefferson Street, Hoboken at 11am. Reverand Peter Palmisano, Celebrant. A private cremation will follow.
