Susan Lubrano, age 84, of Oakland, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024.
She is predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Ralph Lubrano. Susan was the loving mother of Ann Marie and her husband Gary Bioletti and Salvatore and his wife Lucy Lubrano.
Susan was also the loving grandmother “mema” to Angelina, Donna, Lisa Marie (Brendan), Ralphie, and Nicholas. She is predeceased by five brothers and two sisters.
Susan was born in Hoboken, NJ on February 5th 1940 to Angelina (nee DeCandia) and Mauro Rossano. Susan was the youngest of 8 children. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker while her husband Ralph worked many hours as a longshoreman. Family was everything to Susan. She loved spending time with her family playing her favorite games including Pokeno and 500 Rummy. Susan loved spending time with her husband up until his passing in 2021. She was also a lover of all animals but especially dogs and cats.
Susan always brought the laughter to the room with her quick wits and a personality that can fill a room. She will be missed dearly by her family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 24th, 2024 beginning at 2:00pm and concluding at 5:00pm at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken.
Funeral Mass will be held Monday March 25th, 2024 at 10:30am at St. Francis R.C. Church.
Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
