Stephanie Hottendorf, 79, born January 16th, 1945, passed away peacefully on December 24th, 2024, in Secaucus, New Jersey.
Raised in Hoboken and daughter of the late Anthony and Sophie Finizio.
Stephanie was predeceased by her cherished companion the light of her life, John Bado, who she spent 23 years with and whose family was near and dear to her, always.
Stephanie was a devoted mother to her two children, Joseph Hottendorf Jr. and Michele Rodriguez, and was predeceased by her former husband, Joseph W. Hottendorf. Stephanie was a loving mother-in-law to Michele’s husband, Eduardo Rodriguez.
A great joy in her life was her role as a grandmother to Mikaela and Olivia Hottendorf, and Angelis Rodriguez who will miss her dearly.
Stephanie was also a beloved aunt to Meredith Fitzpatrick, and sister-in-law to Catherine. Stephanie was a dear cousin and friend to many who were fortunate to have her in their lives.
For over 20 years, Stephanie served as a Grant Writer for the City of Hoboken, her dedication and expertise left a lasting impact on the community she worked to support.
Stephanie was known for her selflessness and unwavering devotion to her family, her kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who crossed her path. Stephanie’s warmth radiated wherever she went, creating lasting memories filled with love and compassion. May she rest in eternal peace.
Visitation will be held at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home located at 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken, NJ on Sunday, December 29th, 2024, beginning at 4pm and concluding at 8pm. Parking in the rear of the funeral home.
The Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Ann’s RC Church in Hoboken, Monday, December 30th, 2024, beginning at 10am.
Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery located at 340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ.
