Rose V. Principe, 92, of Secaucus, passed away peacefully at her home on May 8th, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones.
Rose was born in Jersey City, NJ and raised in Hoboken. She served 60 years as a fine Executive Administrative Secretary for Auto-graphics, Nestle, ITT, and Metromedia Communication.
She is predeceased by her parents; Michael and Rose Principe (nee Bencivenga) and devoted sister Marie Yaccarino (nee Principe).
Rose is survived by her brother-in-law, Michael “Brother Biggie” Yaccarino, beloved nieces Rose Marie Ranuro (Steven Ranuro) and Judy Guma (Michael Guma).
A great joy in Rose’s life were her great nephews Michael, Steven, Christian and niece, Jenna.
She will be missed by her long-time childhood closest and dear best friend, Anna Catalano.
She enjoyed cherishing time with her godchild, Michele Fazio along with many other cousins and close friends.
Rose especially enjoyed traveling and dining at her favorite restaurant; Biggie’s, on Thursday evenings.
A funeral mass will be offered at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church in Garfield, NJ; 188 MacArthur Ave., on May 12th, 2023 beginning at 10am.
Friends and family can begin gathering 9am-10am.
Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington, NJ.
