Rose M. Wolfe, (nee Cogelia), 87, of Union City, formally of Hoboken, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at the Job Haines Assisted Living, Bloomfield, New Jersey. Born in Hoboken. She attended AJ Demarest High School, Class of 1951. Rose was employed as a Civil Service Worker at the Social Security Office in Jersey City for many years.  Rose’s passion for dancing shined a light on her energetic and joy of life. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Flora (nee Jurasich) Cogelia and eight siblings. She is survived by two cherished daughters, Jacqueline Wolfe and Tricky (Magdalena) Velez and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Due to the current health crisis, Rose will be entombed privately at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ. A Memorial Funeral mass will be scheduled at a later date at St. Francis RC Church, Hoboken.
