Rosa Modugno, (nee Tridente), 87, of Little Ferry formerly of Weehawken passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Hospital in Wayne. Born in Molfetta, Italy. She came to Hoboken in 1971. Rosa was a resident of Weehawken for many years. While in Italy she worked as a Seamstress, after her marriage she was a homemaker. Surviving is her husband of sixty-three years, Giuseppe, her only son Michael, two daughters, Angela Losurdo and her husband Massimo and Giulia Morrone, a brother Corrado Tridente and his wife Mariella; her cherished grandchildren Carmela Morrillo, Rosa Mania, Michele Dipalo, Michael Losurdo, Giuseppina Finizio, Joseph Morrone and Nicholas Morrone and six endeared great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Vito Tridente and a sister Pasqualina Sallustio.
The Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, February 24,2020, 10AM at St. Francis RC Church, 308 Jefferson Street, Hoboken. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2020 beginning at 4PM and concluding at 9PM at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. Valet parking in rear of memorial home off Sixth Street.
