Obituary

Rosa “Rose” Latino, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion to family.

Born on December 23, 1939, in Molfetta, Italy, Rosa carried with her throughout her life the traditions, values, and deep family ties of her Italian heritage. She eventually made her home in New Jersey, residing in several communities before settling in Toms River.

Rosa was a devoted Catholic whose faith was a guiding force throughout her life. A faithful Catholic , she found comfort, strength, and joy in her relationship with God always praying the rosary and watching mass on TV when she was unable to go to church later in life.

Rosa will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. She touched many lives through her caring spirit, generous heart, and quiet strength. Though she had no children or grandchildren, she was deeply loved by her family and friends, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.

Rosa was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dominic Latino, who passed away 21 years ago. She is lovingly survived by her siblings, Frank De Robertis, Giacomina Balacco, and Mauro De Robertis, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Rosa’s legacy of faith, compassion, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.  May she rest in God’s eternal peace.

Rosa will be entombed with her husband on Thursday, July 2, 2026, 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Mausoleum.  Arrangements:  Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, Hoboken.
