Roger F. Greiner, 79, of Hoboken passed away at Cornell Weill Medical Center in New York City on Saturday, December 12, 2020. Roger was a retired Logistics Coordinator for the Henkel Corporation in Hoboken for more than forty years. Roger was born in New York City. He was a member of the Hoboken Elks. Surviving is his devoted wife, Rosemarie Scoccimarro Greiner, two sons, Joseph A. Scoccimarro Greiner and Robert J. Greiner, his daughter Doreen Greiner and a sister Marianne Cocuzza. He was the cherished nephew of Angelina Spaccavento and endeared cousin to her children, Colette, Catherine and Patty Spaccavento. A great joy in his life was the love that he shared with his five grandchildren. Roger was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Greiner and a brother John.
The Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday December 18, 2020, 10am at St. Francis RC Church, Hoboken due to the inclement weather. Internment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, 3pm and concluding at 7pm at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. Parking available in rear of memorial home off Sixth Street. We ask that all COVID restrictions be followed.
