Renee Fause (nee Monteforte), of Hoboken, passed away peacefully at Hackensack Hospital from a short illness due to complications from cancer at age 74. Born and raised in Hoboken, she was employed with the Hoboken Board of Education for 15 years as a Teacher’s Assistant for special needs children.  She previously worked in New York City as an Administrative Assistant. 

She was predeceased by her mother, Helen (nee Fiore) Monteforte and Anthony Monteforte, a decorated, disabled World War II Veteran.  She is survived by many cousins whom she grew up with. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.

Renee will be entombment on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, 11:30 AM at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ, where a committal service will be celebrated in her memory. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis TN, 38105.
