Reina C. Vinas, 69, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026. She is survived by her dearest aunt, Rosalia Diaz, and her most cherished cousins, Hipolito Diaz, Mary Ellen Atkinson, Lourdes (Efrain) Cordero, Diana Fabiano, and other dear family members. She is predeceased by her loving parents, Narciso and Maria, her uncles Hipolito L. Diaz and Oscar H. Diaz, and her cousin Oscar Diaz. Reina will be truly missed by her beloved family and friends.

Reina was born on January 6, 1957 in Havana, Cuba to Maria and Narciso Vinas. Immigrating to the United States as a teenager.  Reina was a graduate of Hoboken High School and earned her bachelor’s degree at Rutger’s University, followed by her nursing degree.  She was employed as a Nurse Pracitioner for Christ Hospital in Jersey City for many years, as well as teaching nursing students and working in various doctors’ offices throughout the years.  Reina enjoyed nursing and the many friends in the medical field she made throughout the years.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 9-10AM at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken, NJ 07030. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM, St. Francis Church, 308 Jefferson Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030. Reina will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
