Rachela Scalzo nee Pasquale, 86 passed away peacefully at Hoboken University Medical Center on January 12^th. A retired seamstress with various clothing companies in Hoboken, Rachela was a resident of Union City for many years after immigrating from her birthplace Monte San Giacomo, Italy in 1958. Surviving is her husband of 64 years Savino and three loving sons James Pasquale, Philip Scalzo, and James Scalzo. A devoted daughter Joanne Ferrara, an endeared brother Vincenzo Pasquale, and a sister Antoinetta Scalzo.

Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to gather directly at St. Ann’s R.C. Church on Saturday, January 15^th. The Funeral Mass will begin promptly at 12:30PM. Entombment will follow at Bergen Crest Mausoleum in North Bergen, NJ. NO VISITATION WILL BE AT FUNERAL HOME. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in leu of flowers.
