Pietro Romano, 77, of Fairview, NJ, entered into eternal life on October 25, 2025.  Predeceased by his beloved wife, Antoinette (née Cardillo).  Loving father of Joseph (Maria) Romano and Anthony (Patricia) Romano. Cherished grandfather of Peter, A.J. and Santino.  Dear brother of Angela and Pasqualina Romano.  Also survived by loving nieces and nephews both in America and Monte San Giacomo, Italy.

Pietro was born in Monte, San Giacomo, Italy to Francesca (née Totaro) and Antonio Romano.  He emigrated to the United State in 1970, and worked as a butcher with A & P Supermarket of Fairview for many years.  He was a member of the Monte San Giacomo Club in Hoboken, where he loved to spend his weekends talking to friends and playing cinquecento, often times beating his son, Joe. 

A celebration of Pietro’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue.  Funeral Mass Thursday, October 30, 2025, 10:00 AM St. Ann’s R.C.
