Peter D. Jacobsen, 82, of Hoboken passed away at his residence on April 3, 2020 surrounded by his family. Born in Hoboken and was a lifelong resident there until his passing. Peter worked as a Rate Analyst for Eastern Railroads in Manhattan, NYC for thirty five years. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter K. Jacobsen and Margaret (nee Gillis). Surviving is his loving wife, Genevieve (nee Balacco), a son Peter and his wife Carrie, two endeared daughters, Margaret and her husband Guy Clancy and Maria Bernerts. A great joy in Peter’s life were cherished grandchildren, Amanda, Brandon, Alexia, Connor, Kevin and Kristian.

Due to the current health crisis, Peter will be privately entombed at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. A Funeral Memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later time.
