Pauline Andersen, 93, of Hoboken passed away on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband William in 2003.

Pauline was born in Roscommon, Ireland and immigrated to Hoboken in the 1960s.

She leaves behind her cherished children – Patricia Andersen and William Andersen. Also surviving are her siblings Lily Reidy, Noel and Mike McDermott, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Bridie Truman and Kate O’Malley, and her brother Patrick McDermott.

A great joy in Pauline’s life were her beloved grandchildren, Brandon and Tyler Parrado, whom she adored.

In addition to her devotion to her family, Pauline was a longtime parishioner of St. Lawrence Parish in Weehawken, a caring neighbor, an avid animal lover, and a big fan of the New York Mets.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17th, 2025 beginning at 4PM and ending at 8PM.

The Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Lawrence RC Church in Weehawken, NJ on Tuesday, March 18th, 2025 at 10:30AM.

Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington, NJ.
