Patrick J. Fitzgerald, 75, of Hoboken, passed away peacefully at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC on Saturday, October 22, 2021. Patrick was a dedicated and devoted parishioner of Sts. Peter & Paul R.C. Church in Hoboken. He was the senior usher at that parish for many years. He was a retired H.V.A.C. Mechanic for Verizon INC. at Battery Place in Manhattan. Born in New York City, Patrick was a proud Hoboken resident for most of his life. He served in Vietnam as a member of the Marine Corp from 1966-1968. He leaves to mourn his passing his devoted wife of 53 years Lynn (nee Aris). His only daughter Doreen Thorpe and her husband Patrick. His two loving sons Patrick Jr. and Michael. Also surviving are two endeared sisters, Maureen Fitzgerald and Sharon Barrett and her husband Ken. A great joy in his life were his cherished grandchildren Patrick Thorpe Jr. and his wife Colby and Daniel Thorpe. He will be sadly missed by his in laws Robert Aris and his wife Barabra, and a sister in law Arlene Zanin.
The Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, October 25, at Sts. Peter & Paul R.C. Church at 10 A.M. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Visitation Sunday beginning at 2 P.M. and concluding at 8 P.M. Parking available in rear of memorial home off 6th st.
