Obituary

Patrick G. Pantoliano, 80, a life long Hoboken resident passed away suddenly in the presence of his loving family while vacationing in Wildwood, NJ on Friday, August 7, 2020.  Patrick was employed by the Hoboken Board of Education for 40 years retiring as the city’s Custodial Director.  Patty was a proud Yankees fan, enjoyed cooking, vacationing in Wildwood Crest, and spending his free time with his friends at Monroe Buddy’s and the Company K. Social Clubs in Hoboken. 

A devoted family man Patrick will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 57 years, Geraldine (nee Casazza) and his cherished children Diane Mastropierro (Frank), Patricia Canonico (Joseph), and Patrick Jr. (Ruby).  A great joy in his life were his grandchildren Angelica (David), Francesca (Frank), Jillian (Correy), Zachary, Patrick, and Danny.  Pat was eagerly awaiting the birth of his first great grandchild Leo Patrick.  He was predeceased by his parents Christina (nee DeCicco) and Frank Pantoliano, endeared brother Richard Pantoliano.  Also surviving are Pat’s sisters-in-law Carol Pantoliano and Florence Casazza, many nieces and nephews. 

Patrick was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Ann’s R.C. Church in Hoboken where his Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 10 AM.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-8 PM at the Failla McKnight Memorial Home, Hoboken.  Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 there will be no repast following the Committal Service.
