It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our father, Nicholas Spadavecchia, who was 85 years old. He was a great dad, devoted husband, loving grandfather, and generous supporter of his family and grandchildren.
Nicholas leaves behind: wife, Anna; daughter, Isabel McGinley, husband, Patrick, and grandchildren, Maximillian, Jack, and Connor; and son, Nicholas, and grandchildren, Angela, Nicholas, Brianna, Christopher and Isabella.
Nicholas was proud of his Italian heritage, but even more proud of his country. He served in the US Army for 6 years, so it somehow seems fitting that he should pass away on Memorial Day. He was a man full of joy — ready with a joke, a smile, and a good story to tell.
He loved his darling wife, Anna, married for 56 years this June. He had a passion for traveling and photography. He prided himself on dressing sharp and being a great dancer. Dad, our sadness today is immeasurable; however, your spirit, your generous heart, and deep love for family is a legacy that will live on in the heart and memory of your family always. May you rest in peace.
