“Aunt Francie” was born in Hoboken, NJ. She always loved this city. She retired as the Associate Director of the Hoboken Senior Citizen Program where she thoroughly enjoyed providing services as well as some fun social activities to Hoboken’s elderly. She liked to participate in local politics and could be seen tirelessly working the polls on election day.
She was also an active member of St. Francis Church and would always sit with the choir as she so loved her music. She was also intrigued by being in the spotlight and was granted her wish to perform on stage at the Comic Strip in New York City where she delighted the crowd with her comedy – an event she remembered fondly all her life. Above all else, family was most important to her. She was affectionately referred to as the Family Historian as she had an uncanny ability to remember all the family stories, every date for everything, and fully delighted in relaying all the wonderful family tales throughout her life.
Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis RC Church in Hoboken, NJ on Saturday, January 14th, 2023, beginning at 10am.
Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
