Mauro Lunanova, 88, of Hoboken passed away in Jersey City on December 31, 2020.  A retired Mechanic for many years with the Body Rite Repair in Secaucus.  Mauro was born in Molfetta, Italy and immigrated to Hoboken in 1970.  He was an avid gardener always proud of his fresh vegetables which was shared with his family.  Surviving is his wife of 61 years Giuseppina (nee Visaggio.)  His only daughter Giovanna Facchini and her husband Domenick, two devoted sons Felice and Dominick, two sisters Rosa Giancaspro and Laura Pansini.  He was predeceased by a sister Letizia Dejudicibus.  He leaves to mourn his passing a cherished granddaughter Jessica and her husband Mark Gould, and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday morning beginning at 8:30 A.M. and concluding at 10:30 A.M.  Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Hoboken at 11 A.M.  Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum.  We ask everyone attending to please adhere to all Covid-19 restrictions.
