Mary Squeo (nee Scardigno), 98, of Hoboken passed away peacefully on April 10, 2020 at Alaris at Hamilton Park in Jersey City, NJ. Born in Molfetta, Italy to parents Pantaleo and Lucia (nee) Sciancalepore Scardigno. She was a Seamstress for H & P in Hoboken for many years and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Mary loved baseball, especially the New York Yankees and was a great cook. She was a lifelong resident of Hoboken, always walking, greeting everyone with her beautiful smile and kind heart. Predeceased by her loving husband Anthony (1971), sister Jennie Cassetta and the late Michael, cherished sister-in-law of Jeanette Scardigno, nephew Frank Ferrucci. Surviving is her endeared niece Alexa Ferrucci.
Due to the current health crises, Mary will be privately buried with her husband Anthony at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. A Funeral Memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later date.
