Luz Pacheco, 80, passed away peacefully at the Center for Hope in Elizabeth, New Jersey on Thursday, June 13, 2019. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was a resident of Hoboken for thirty-five years. Mrs. Pacheco worked as an Administrator for the Hudson County Department of Welfare in Jersey City for thirty-seven years.  She leaves to mourn her passing her cherished son Jose (Elizabeth), a loving daughter, Ibis (Robert) Colon, a brother Luis Cruz and two sisters, Gini Gonzales and Emma Zayas. She was a loving grandmother to Joey, Allison, Michael, Kimberly, Danielly, Becky and seven cherished great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 10AM at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken.  There will be a prayer service in the chapel beginning at 12PM.  Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Kearny, New Jersey. Parking available in rear of memorial home off Sixth Street.
