Kathryn Brawley, 63, of Union City, passed away on February 18th, 2023 at the Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, NJ.
Kathy was born with down syndrome on March 4th, 1959 and lived a full extraordinary life.
As a young girl, Kathy participated in the Special Olympics, where she won numerous awards and trophies. Kathy had many favorite things— her unique relationship with her dolls, hamburgers and the music band “The Monkees”, her favorite member was Peter. Her adventures in life came through the many television programs she watched throughout the day.
Kathy is predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Josephine Brawley (nee Alterisio), her two uncle’s, Robert and Anthony Alterisio, and sister, RoseAnn Schuddekopf (nee Brawley).
She is survived by her nieces, Kaylah Ann, Ashleigh Rose and Brittany Lanae Schuddekopf. Her great nephews, Justin Schuddekopf and Aiden Mainegra, Salvatore Larocca, and her brother-in-law, Harold Schuddekopf.
Private Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
