Kathleen B. Edgar, 70, a life-long Hoboken resident passed away peacefully at CarePointe Hoboken University Medical Center on Friday, June 28, 2019. Kathy was a former retired unit clerk with St. Mary’s Hospital for many years.  Surviving is her only son, Hoboken Police Officer, John Cirillo and his wife Candice, a brother, retired Hoboken Police Captain, Dennis Edgar and his wife Carol, a sister Doris Marchesani. Also surviving are many cherished nieces and nephews. Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Doris A. Murphy and John Edgar, a brother Retired Hoboken Police Lt. Robert Edgar.  Kathy was the endeared step-daughter of the late Joseph Goglicci, and the long-time companion of Hoboken Police Officer, Richard Lynskey.

Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Ann R.C. Church, Hoboken on Tuesday at 10:00 AM.  Visitation will be held at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home on Monday, July 1, beginning at 4 PM and concluding at 9 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathleen’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Envelopes will be provided.  Valet parking available in rear of funeral home off Sixth Street.
