Josephine M. Fitzhenry, 82, of Verona, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025. She is the beloved husband of the late James Fitzhenry (2005). She is survived by her loving children, James P. Fitzhenry and Stephanie (Stephen) O’Byrne. She is also survived by her dearest sister, Judy Braun. Josephine will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Josephine was born on April 30, 1943 in Philadelphia to Nina (née Ragazina) and Dominick Messina. She was employed at Hospice of New Jersey, and resided in Verona, NJ for 30 years.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 4-8 PM, at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken, NJ 07030.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 11, 10:30 AM, at St. Ann’s Church, 704 Jefferson Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030.

Cremation will be private.
