Josephine (nee Cappadona) Cemelli, 96, a life long Hoboken resident passed away on January 12, 2021. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Marilyn and her endeared son Gary and his wife Rose, and her cherished granddaughter Christine and her husband Brett. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Salvatore (2008). Josephine was born in Hoboken to Carmella (nee Russo) and Tindaro Cappadona. She worked as a Seamstress in Hoboken’s Garment district. During the pandemic Josephine made masks to aid frontline workers. Her warm smile and everlasting love for her family will always be remembered. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, January 16, 2021, 10 A.M. at St. Ann’s R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Failla McKnight Memorial Home beginning at 4 P.M. and concluding at 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers Shrine of St. Jude or charity of your choice.
