With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Josephine Amato on July 18th.
Josephine was the beloved wife of the late John Amato Sr. and was devoted to her family throughout her life. She is lovingly remembered by her four children—Vinny, Lisa, John Jr. and Josephine—and their spouses, Jerome, Jane, and Darryl. She leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren: Olivia, Pia, Giovanni, John, Darra, Aedan, Jude, Halia, and Adrienne, as well as two adored great-grandchildren, Sigrid and Jack. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who will forever treasure her memory.
Josephine was the last of five sisters and the last remaining member of her generation, marking the end of an era for her family. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, quiet strength, and the countless memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished so deeply.
