Joseph Vito Prezioso, born on April 21, 1957, passed away on December 17, 2025.

Born and raised in Hoboken, New Jersey, Joseph was a longtime resident of Keansburg, where he made his home with his beloved family. He was a devoted family man whose presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Known for his strength, loyalty, and quiet generosity, Joseph lived his life with integrity, kindness, and deep love for his family. He would do anything for those he loved.

Joseph worked as a longshoreman for Local 1 at Global Terminal in Jersey City.

He had a great love for cruises and enjoyed traveling, but he was most proud of his Italian heritage. His deep connection to his roots was always evident, and he was a true reflection of the values that come with his culture—family, faith, and loyalty.

A man of strong faith, Joseph was a lifelong parishioner of Saint Francis Roman Catholic Church in Hoboken, where he was an active and devoted member of the Holy Name Society and the Madonna dei Martiri Society. He was also a member of Saint Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church in Middletown, where he continued to practice his faith.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Linda Prezioso (née Forino); his cherished children, Allison Prezioso and her fiancé , Doug, and Steven Prezioso and his wife, Rose; his adored grandchildren, Wyatt Leo, Charlotte Nella, Luca Giuseppe, and Shea Charles; and his brother, Anthony Prezioso. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Antoinette Prezioso.

Joseph’s legacy lives on through the love he shared, the faith he practiced, and the devotion he showed to his family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
