Jose (Cheo) Rivera, 69, of Hoboken, passed away on February 3rd, 2022. He was born on December 22, 1952, in Corozal, Puerto Rico. Cheo was a retired plate-maker for an industrial printing company for 30 years.

Cheo was a jokester who created memories for everyone that would last a lifetime. His family and friends will remember him as the person who always brought laughter into the room, especially when he made sure everyone knew he looked like Steve Harvey.

Cheo is survived by his wife, Lydia Perez (which they met in 1973), sons Carlos & Maribel, Jose & Nancy, Miguel & Sonia, Joseph & lleana. Grandchildren: Shalayne, Luis, Adrian, Jazzeline, Victoria, Justin, Carlos Jr., Alexandra, Jesus, Marcos, and Natalya and Great Grandchildren Miah, Luis Jr., Jocelyn, Antonio, and Juliana.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 6PM-9PM. For immediate family will be 5PM-6PM. Wednesday, February 9th at 9am proceeding burial in Woodbridge, NJ area.
