Muzzi John Roggio, 74, of Weehawken, passed away unexpectedly on July 21, 2026. He is survived by his mother Helena Roggio; predeceased by his father, John Roggio.

John was born in Jersey City. He attended Fordham University, and earned post-graduate degrees from City and Hunter Colleges. He was an administrator with the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan for many years.

At John’s request, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, 10:00 AM at Saints Peter & Paul R.C. Church, 404 Hudson Street, Hoboken, NJ. John will be laid to rest at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Avenue, Jersey City, NJ.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken, NJ.
