Obituary

John J. Marzocca, 85, of Hoboken passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.  John was born in Hoboken and resided there until his death. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was self-employed as an electrician. He is predeceased by his wife, Dolores (nee DeCarlo), a brother Pauly and sister Loretta. Loving father of his sons, Anthony Fazio, John (Rita), his daughters, Jeane O’Keefe, Jamie Marzocca, and dearest brother of Linda Kemp. A great joy in John’s life were his cherished grandchildren, Vanessa Pasquariello, Alexa, John, Keegan, Marlee and Eric Davis. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, Rocco and Skye and two nieces, Courtney Echevarria (Michael) and Samantha Bell (Zach).A Catholic Blessing will be offered on Saturday, April 27th, 10:45 am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington, New Jersey. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019, beginning at 5pm and concluding at 9pm at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken.
