John A. Cassesa, 83, of Hoboken, NJ was born on June 17th, 1941 to Salvatore and Antoinette Cassesa nee Fortunato. He is survived by his younger brother Vincent Cassesa.

John attended #9 Connors School, AJ Demarest High School and Jersey City State College.

He was married to Norma Marie Bass for over 54 years, Norma predeceased him in 2019.

John is survived by his two daughters; Teresa Gaurgue and her Husband George, Lauren Pessolano and her husband James.

John has three grandchildren James, Teresa and Amanda Pessolano and his great grandson Vincent Pessolano.

John worked as a purchasing manager beginning at Cornell & Underhill, Hoboken NJ then Fabco Piping Harrison, NJ & Ideal Supply in Jersey City for over 70 years.

He was a devoted to Our Lady of Mount Carmel & Padre Pio. He loved old movies and Broadway musicals.

John was a devoted Husband, Father and loved his family dearly. He will live forever in the hearts of his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15th, 2024 beginning at 4pm and concluding at 8pm.

The Funeral Mass will be offered at St Francis RC Church on Friday, August 16th, 2024 at 10am.

A private cremation will be held at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton, NJ.
