Jo Prins (née Franklin), 72, of Hoboken, NJ died peacefully on February 4, 2021 at
Hoboken University Medical Center. Predeceased by her beloved husband,
Edward G. Prins, Sr. Loving mother of Michael, Edward, Jr., Thomas, Brian, and Stephen.
Cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren. Endeared sister of Butch and
Thomas Franklin and Rose Traficante.
Jo was born in Jersey City to Carmella (née Andreano) and William Franklin. She
was a cashier supervisor at Hoboken University Medical Center (St. Mary’s).
Visitation Friday, February 12, 2021, commencing at 4 PM and concluding at 8
PM, with a Catholic Blessing at 7 PM, at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home,
533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. Parking available in rear of memorial home off
Sixth Street. Cremation is private.
