James P. Peluso, 97, of Jersey City (formerly of Hoboken) entered into eternal life on February 17, 2026.  Predeceased by his beloved wife, Rosemarie (née Taranto)(2008).  Devoted father of Maria (Ramon) Rivera.  Cherished grandfather of Ralph (Melissa) Gallo and Matthew Gallo, and great-grandfather of Sophia.  Also survived by his son-in-law, Ralph Gallo, Sr.

James was born and raised in Hoboken by his late parents; Margaret (née Giordano) and James Peluso.  He was a quality control manager with the Ford Motor Company of Mahwah for many years.

Visitation Sunday, February 22, 2026, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken.  Parking available in rear of funeral home off Sixth Street.  Funeral Mass Monday, February 23, 2026, 10:00 AM at St. Paul of the Cross R.C. Church, 156 Hancock Avenue, Jersey City.  James will be entombed with his wife at Holy Cross Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.
