James Francis Lyons, 75, of Hoboken, passed away peacefully at Hoboken University Medical Center on Friday, April 15, 2022.  Born in Passaic, NJ Jimmy lived in Hoboken all of his life.  He was employed as a Moving Man with L&L Moving Company for some 40 years.  Surviving are his children Eileen Lyons-Lusch and her husband Thomas.  Jim was stepfather to Paris, Darlene, and Gina Branda.  Also surviving are his siblings Joseph, Michael, Dennis, Elizabeth Ciccolella, and Linda Cchini his brother in law’s Micky and Joseph and sister in laws Tina and Monica.  A great joy in his life were his cherished grandchildren Nicholas, Paris, Thomas, Anthony, and Lillian as well as a grand host of nieces and nephews.  Also surviving are five great grandchildren.  James was predeceased by his father John and a stepfather Edward Woroschak and his loving mother Hilda. He was predeceased by his wife Carol (nee Breighaupt), and a brother John and two sisters Lillian Yanko and Carol Rozelle.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to share in the celebration of the Eucharist at his Funeral Mass Friday Aprill 22, 2022 at St. Francis R.C. Church 10 A.M.  Interment will follow at Hoboken Cemetery in North Bergen. Visitation will begin at 4 P.M. on Thursday April 21, 2022 and concluding at 8 P.M.
