Gustave Carbonaro, born December 30, 1936 in Hoboken, New Jersey quietly passed away on November 5, 2025. He is survived by his wife Barbara Carbonaro, son Michael Carbonaro, daughter Michelle Carbonaro, stepdaughter, Christine Gleitsmann, grandson, Anthony Carbonaro, daughter-in-law, Sharon Carbonaro, son-in-law, Robert Keblitis, many nieces and nephews, and his favorite Chihuahua, Cody.

Gus’ early years included working at local restaurants in Hoboken where he met Frank Sinatra and many other famous stars of the early 1940’s and 1950’s.  He was also a proud member of the Teamsters Local 560.

Gus will be remembered for his great sense of humor, compassion, and kindness.

A gathering to honor and to celebrate Gus will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a Catholic Blessing at 11:00 AM, at the Failla Memorial Home in Hoboken, NJ.
