Gloria Messina (née Petrillo), 96, a lifetime resident of Hoboken, NJ passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025.  Loving mother of Mona Pellecchia.  Cherished grandmother of Stefanie Petesic and Natalie DiTerlizzi, and great-grandmother of Mikey Petesic.  Dear sister of Caroline McKenna.  Predeceased by her parents, Alfonsine (née Lambiase) and Alfonse Petrillo, her former husband, Dominick, her siblings, Dominick, John and Steve Petrillo, and Marie Theurer.

Gloria was employed as an accountant and bookkeeper for R. Neumann & Company, leather producers, in Hoboken for many years.

There is no visitation.  The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, 10:30 AM at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, 704 Jefferson Street, Hoboken.  All those who wish to attend are asked to meet directly at the church no later than 10:15 AM.  Gloria will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Gloria’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; www.stjude.org.
