Giorgio Recine, age 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 25, 2022 at
home in Glendale, AZ where he resided for the past 11 years.
Born in Ripi, Italy in 1940 to the late Ennio and Emilia Recine and then immigrated to the US in 1961 settling in NY.
Beloved husband of Filomena (nee Buonsanto) for almost 59 years, devoted father of Roberto and his
wife Jennifer, Giorgio, Ennio and a loving Nonno to Jack, Anthony and Bianca. He was a dear brother of
Giovana Teresa, Luisa, and the late Clara, Filiberto, Cesira, Maria and Natale also a cherished uncle,
cousin and friend to many.
He was a Master at his craft as a mason and for over 30 years he owned and operated Perfix Enterprise
with his business partner and best friend Piero Scenga. He was an avid hunter, could fix anything,
enjoyed tending to his garden and loved spending time with friends and family
Visitation will be on Wednesday August 31st at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home beginning at 2pm ending at 4pm and then from 6pm concluding 9pm.
Funeral mass will be held Thursday September 1st at St. Francis Church in Hoboken, 11am.
Interment following at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, NJ
