Frank C. “Miggy” Migliaccio

Obituary

Frank C. “Miggy” Migliaccio, 79, of Bergenfield (formerly of Hoboken), passed away on February 19, 2026. Beloved husband of Joan (née Wortmann). Devoted step-father of Arlette Spang and her husband Benjamin, and Michael Raissis and

his wife Tina. Cherished grandfather of Kieran Spang. Dear brother of Charles Migliaccio and his wife Mary, Amelia Jackson and her husband Kenneth. Loving uncle of Joseph, Mariel, and Calli.

Frank was born in Jersey City to Raffaela (née Magilaro) and Joseph Migliaccio. He was a longtime educator in the Hoboken School System, retiring in 2005. Frank will be remembered as a deeply devoted educator who shaped the lives of countless students with patience, humor, and unwavering encouragement. He believed in the potential of every young person who walked into his classroom, and many credit him not only for their academic success but for the confidence he instilled in them.

Outside of school, Frank’s passions were just as vibrant. He was a lifelong and loyal fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants, rarely missing a game and proudly wearing his team colors through every triumphant season and rebuilding year alike. Summers were his favorite time of year. He could often be found relaxing by his pool, soaking up the sun and working on his tan, content with being surrounded by friends and family.

Before his illness, Frank especially cherished traveling with friends and family. Whether it was a long-planned getaway or a spontaneous weekend trip, he treasured the laughter, stories, and shared adventures that came with exploring new places together. His warmth, steady presence, and joyful spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
