Francesco Ratto, 68, of Carlstadt, NJ (formerly of Hoboken, NJ), passed away September 28, 2026 at home surrounded by loved ones.  Beloved husband of Antonia (née Giannotte).  Devoted father of Angelo Ratto and his wife Riana, Vincenza Morel and her husband Joel.  Cherished grandfather of Ariana, Brielle, Angelina and Francesco. Dear brother of Pino Ratto and his wife Anna, Joe Ratto, John Ratto and his wife Roseann.  Also survived by his sister-in-law Rosa Ratto, brothers-in-law Nicolas Giannotte and his wife Janine, Sabino Giannotte and his wife Laura, Mario Giannotte and his wife Julianne.  Predeceased by his brother, Antonio Ratto (2022) and his parents Vincenza (née Gigante) and Angelo Ratto.

Francesco was born in Mola di Bari, Italy.  He emigrated to the United States, settling in Carlstadt, NJ.  He was owner and operator of Mola Iron Work of Hoboken, NJ for many years.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken.  Parking is available in the rear of the funeral home off Sixth Street.  The Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, October 1, 2026, 10:00 AM at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, 308 Jefferson Street, Hoboken.  Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum, 501 Bergenwood Road, Fairview.
