Francesco Centrone, 86, of Hoboken, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on July 11, 2020. Born in Molfetta, Italy. Francesco immigrated to Hoboken in 1961. He served in the Italian Navy prior to coming to the United States. He worked many years at Raimondo & Sons Construction Company in Fort Lee, NJ. He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Marta (nee Gadaletta), his only cherished daughter, Eleonora Acerra and her husband Tony, a brother Nicola and wife Letezia, and a sister-in-law Teresa Magarelli, a niece, Rosa and a nephew Mauro. He was predeceased by two brothers, Luigi and Sergio and a sister, Rosetta LaGrasta.

Relatives and friends are invited to share in the Celebration of the Eucharist at his funeral mass on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at St. Ann Catholic Church beginning at 11AM. A PRIVATE family viewing will be held prior to the mass. Entombment with follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ.
