Elizabeth A. (nee Carnevale) Policastro, 72, of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ (formerly of Hoboken) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 3, 2021.  Elizabeth was the beloved wife of the late Frank Policastro.  She was the devoted mother of Ginny and her husband Heriberto “Ed” Vega.  The greatest joy in her life was her cherished grandchildren Peter Franco and Daniel Vega.  Elizabeth is also survived by her sister Virginia Carnevale Clarke and her husband Frank Clarke, and a brother Joseph Carnevale

Elizabeth was born in Jersey City, NJ to Mary (nee Ferretti) and Joseph Carnevale.  She was a Teacher for the Hoboken Board of Education for 35 years.  Elizabeth was a faithful parishioner of St. Ann’s R.C. Church and devout member of the St. Ann’s Guild.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Mass Wednesday, October 6, 2021, 11 A.M. at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Hoboken.  Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  Visitation will be held at St. Ann’s R.C. Church beginning at 9 A.M. and concluding at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the St. Ann’s Restoration Fund.
