Eliezer Montanez, 85, of Hoboken passed away peacefully on October 29, 2021 at the Harborage in North Bergen. Born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, Eliezer has lived in Hoboken for fifty-two years. He was employed with Applied Housing in Hoboken in Demolition and Construction. He is survived by his loving wife Carmen (nee) Aponte, two sons, Orlando and Tommy and a cherished daughter, Susan Selecki. Also surviving is a brother, Albertine Montanez, five sisters, Elcida Vasquez, Virtrude Velez, Carmen Montanez, Eliza Rivera and Irma Colon and a host of cherished grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, William Montanez.
Visitation for Eliezer will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, beginning at 9AM and concluding at 1PM at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, Hoboken. The prayer service will begin at 10AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Parking available in rear of memorial home off Sixth Street.
