Eileen M. Wehrhahn (née Byrne), 71, a lifelong Hoboken, NJ resident, passed away March 15, 2026 surrounded by her family . Beloved wife of 50 years Walter D. Wehrhahn.  Devoted mother of  daughter Amy Franco, son Kris Wehrhahn and his wife Cherie and Cherished grandmother of  Casey, Maddox, Daniel and Emma.  She is also survived by her three loving sisters Patricia Hill, Joan Rotondi and Kelly Martinez. 

Eileen was born July 21, 1954 to Patricia (née Fadenbauer) and Hugh Rae Byrne.  Eileen started her career at the Levalor factory and held many positions before retiring as an administrative assistant with the City of Hoboken for many years.

after retirement eileen enjoyed spending time in her beautiful home on the bay and Taking care of the treasures of her life Casey and Maddox. 

Eileen will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, her warm kind generous heart her amazing sense of style, her laughter, and the love she so freely gave to her family and friends. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished. 

A celebration of Eileen’s life will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken.  Parking is available in rear of funeral home off Sixth Street.  Funeral Mass Saturday, 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, 400 Willow Avenue, Hoboken.  Entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.
