Eileen D. Ruiz (née Henderson), 76, of Hoboken, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Fernando Ruiz.

Eileen was the loving sister of Sally Ann (Yontis)Arnone and the late Rosanne (Tino)Andreula, who passed away in 2009. She was a cherished aunt to Anthony Arnone and his wife, Gina; Damien and his wife, Nicole. Jason Andreula and his wife Claudia; Jessica Andreula and her husband, Shaun Kolmer. She was also a beloved great aunt to Drew, Jaxson, and Mariana.

Born and raised in Hoboken, Eileen was the daughter of the late Anna (née Ferns) and Joseph Henderson. After earning her Bachelor’s degree from Jersey City State University, Eileen made her home in Delray Beach, Florida, where she lived for 50 years. Two years ago, she returned to her beloved hometown of Hoboken.

During her years in Florida, Eileen worked for Rex Accounting Services in Boynton Beach. She built a life filled with family, friendships, and memories that will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.

Eileen will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 12:30 PM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 308 Jefferson Street, Hoboken. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eileen’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
